Convertibles need scrutiny that closed cars do not, and our 72-point inspection reflects it. We run every top through its full cycle. We check hydraulics and motors on retractable hardtops, seal condition, and the drainage channels that quietly cause the water intrusion which ruins interiors and electronics. On soft tops we assess fabric and stitching, rear glass or plastic clarity, and whether the top has been stored correctly over its life.
Every convertible we sell is kept indoors in a climate-controlled 18,000 square foot showroom. No sun-bleached paint, no UV-degraded tops, no cars baking on a lot through a Florida August. We ship nationwide, with enclosed transport available.

What should I check when buying a used convertible?
Operate the top through its complete cycle several times and listen for hesitation or strain. Then check for water intrusion — look at carpet underlayment, seat rails, footwells and the trunk floor for staining or corrosion. On a soft top, inspect the fabric, the stitching and the clarity of the rear window. On a retractable hardtop, the mechanism and its hydraulics are the expensive parts.
Are hardtop convertibles better than soft tops in Florida?
Each has a real trade-off. A retractable hardtop gives you better insulation, security and quiet, and it will not degrade in UV, but the mechanism is complex and costly to repair. A soft top is simpler and cheaper to replace, but Florida sun and humidity shorten its life. Either works well if it has been garaged.
